MG 1/100 XXXG-01SR Gundam Sandrock (Part 1)

One of the best MGs with one of the best articulations for that line of release.

Suitable for beginners - joining parts (male + female) is easy on this one, unlike other MGs that require extra care.
For me, I prefer finishing the whole kit before I apply the decals. Others might apply decals while building it.
Here's the decals. 

Not much though.

Here is the mistake I made. Notice the sides of that decal on the middle? It was the stain from the lining, which got stuck on the decal when I removed the excess ink from the lines. 

Not to worry, there is a thing called decal trimming (optional), where you trim off the excess transparent sections of the decals. 

I built the shield first, not sure why I did that but never mind. I proceeded with the legs, both at the same time.

Then, the lower unit of the torso.

With the leg and the lower/waist unit, it stands very very tall. No joke.
